Sephora's redesigned iOS app was the first step the global enterprise took towards implementing a unified design system across its digital products. While redesigning the app, I created Sephora's first ever style guide to achieve UI/UX and branding consistency across the native app.
The style guide helped outline appropriate design patterns for the app's growing number of functions and features. A centralized design system aided in streamlining our iterative and cross-platform design process through the use of reusable elements and easing communication with developers. The patterns were designed to be modular and adaptable for use on Sephora's other digital products, including web and Android, creating a suite of branded digital experiences.
I helped other designers and developers adopt the style guide to design, prototype, and build more efficiently and consistently. A website was also created to easily share the guide and update any components in a centralized location.
